Through baptism a child is reborn into the kingdom of heaven, becomes a member of the Church and is adopted as a son or daughter of God. Baptism is the gateway to the other sacraments of the Church and needs the assistance and nurture of parents and godparents. To that end we ask that parents and godparents attend a baptismal preparation class. Our baptismal preparation classes are on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 in the Parish Center. You are welcome to attend our baptismal preparation class if your child or godchild is to be baptized in another parish.
Our baptisms are on the first Sunday of every month at 1:30 pm in the church. We ask for a donation of $100.00 for a baptism. We ask for a donation of $10.00 if you attend our baptismal preparation class for your child or godchild to be baptized in another parish. Please sign up for the baptisms and for the baptismal preparation class by calling the Parish Center at 818-784-0105.
